Hi, I'm Laurel, a flower and garden designer from Beacon, NY.

I have been a plant enthusiast my whole life. My father was a landscaper, and I grew up watching both of my parents happily puttering around in their gardens. In high school and college, I worked as a florist and studied plant science as a biology major. Although I chose to pursue a career as a high school science teacher, I never abandoned my joy of working with plants (having summers off helped!), and I spent countless hours designing and installing gardens across four different homes. To further develop my skill set, I recently completed two courses through the New York Institute of Art & Design: Floral Design and Landscape Design.

Our gardens and living spaces serve as sanctuaries for peaceful enjoyment away from the stresses of the outside world. I offer a collaborative approach, working closely with clients to understand their unique vision for floral arrangements or outdoor living spaces. Drawing on my extensive background in biology and plant research, I create beautiful, functional, and eco-friendly designs that increase property value and stay within your budget. I aim to provide peace of mind, and my attention to detail ensures that your unique style is reflected in the final project.
